Silent Beaches, Untold Stories: New York City's Forgotten Waterfront by Elizabeth Albert will be published by Damiani Editore in September 2016. Underwater New York--Nicki Pombier Berger, Helen Georgas, and Nicole Haroutunian--edited the fiction and poetry for the book. Preorder the book here

Underwater New York is a digital journal of writing, art and music inspired by real-life objects (a dead giraffe! a grand piano! a fleet of ice cream trucks!) found in the waterways of New York City. Since 2009, I've been editing UNY, planning events, leading excursions and exploring NYC's strangest shorelines with Nicki Pombier Berger and Helen Georgas.

Halfway There: A Reading Series in Montclair is a quarterly reading series in Montclair, NJ. Co-founded by Apryl Lee and Nicole Haroutunian, it takes place at the Red Eye Cafe.

Our Books Are Better Than We Are is my book blog. I try to write about every book I read. My posts aren't reviews but rather examinations of the texts from a craft perspective.
